Recap

2016, Photography

Untitled

It felt like ages, but I finally got back to my blog. I missed it, honestly, but I had just too much on my mind. Photography was not one of my main priorities.

Untitled

I did see things on my daily commute though.

I can’t believe it though that I took photographs each day last year. I guess lots of things happened. Probably too much.

I’m still coping with that. I’m just glad I actually saw and felt moments that caught my attention.

  2. Welcome back Wouter. We’re glad that you’re still sharing those moments that catch your attention.

  3. Hi, Wouter!

Hasn’t followed you for a long, long, time, and here I read about your son’s stroke! How old is he?! The youngest I know that had a stroke was in his 40’s …
    I’ll write more later!

    1. He is 15 now, but was late 14 when it happened. It is quite rare for children to happen and when so, it like occurs to young babies in their first 4 months.
It is going better now and he, and the family, are gradually coping with the situation.

      1. So good to see you’re back again! Still experimenting, still exploring all the square inches and vista’s of your daily train stations, the patterns and the clair-obscur… Looks like photography has quietly been continuing inside your head while you were taken up in the things that happened. Best wishes to you and your family, dear Wouter.

Best wishes to you and your family, dear Wouter.

  5. Thanks much for sharing the collections from your daily travel, Wouter – as Proust said: “The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.”
