After all the buzz of last night and today back to what I like most, photographs. Last Sunday we went for a stroll through a nearby forest. Lovely weather, gorgeous colors (sorry no colors though in this post, again!), shooting mostly wide open and playing. I planned to past this last night, but it is never too late in my opinion.
All photographs by Wouter Brandsma
I agree, never too late. Timeless images, beautiful.
Thank you Richard. The buzz of last night is fun. To be one of the first, but photographs still do it for me.
The one with the reflection of the trees is a classic. Great stuff.
Nice!. Love the tree reflection in particular.
great stuff
how did the Tokina work out… .I don’t think i shot with that since about 1992 🙂
K
The Tokina is fun lens even though it the lens doesn’t sit tightly into the adapter. I now have it permanently attached to the camera, because I like the perspective.
Actually i noticed that too when i briefly tried it on my adaptor… I assumed it was my adaptor… sorry
Lovely as always, Wouter. The shadows and overall composition in no. 4 are my favorite of this series. And the bokeh swirl in the protrait of your daughter is amazing! Thanks for sharing!
I was pretty amazed about that bokeh swirl too. And I did with the Helios while my little girl was moving around trying to manual focus on her without any confirmation.
I agree, that photograph is fantastic, and the bokeh contributes in a major way!
The use of black and white gives some of the pictures and eiry feel. Perfect for a fall post halloween set of pictures.
It is just that we don’t celebrate halloween here (not yet).
In my opinion, picture 7&8 are classic.. that must be really nice really big on a wall. nice composition play using the empty spaces
Thanks Ronald.
A particularly beautiful set of pictures Wouter. The light has that quality that leaves me feeling as if I’m actually there in person, instead of seeing through your camera.
Awesome shots dude – it looks like you had a great Sunday and you captured some excellent frames here.
