This Eastern weekend entry is filled with photographs mostly taken at the resort where my son gets therapeutic horseback riding. My son is diagnozed with autism and ADHD. Structuring his life is our number one priority, but is also, to be realistic, a huge stress factor for our lives. And while he ride the horse Lancelot we were able to spent some good time with our little daugter. And get some time to relax.
Leaving work I saw this sign. An ought place though.
Did I ever mention I like shadows?
Getting texture without adding texture.
We arrived at the stable.
While my son waited for his ride.
It was pretty warm, but my daughter didn’t want to leave without her boots.
Real life shadows, I just love shadows at bright sunny days.
And more shadows from my son on the horse Lancelot.
Being captivated by the light and the burst of the spring season.
My son on the back of Lancelot, such a beautiful and comfortable horse.
Finally my son was relaxed, tired, and wanted to go home.
My daughter was intrigued by her own shadow, although unconsiously it reminded me of Eastern when I reviewed this photograph.
We’re going home again.

Thank you for sharing something so personal – and such great photos. God bless you and your family this Easter.
Thank you so much Daniel. Have a blessing Easter.
That’s a great shot of Lancelot’s eye.
Its a challenge allocating time to meet each child’s individual requirements. But I’m sure, from what I have seen from your photos, your family provides a loving environment for all.
We are doing our best yesbuts. Not always easy, but we try to do fine.
I’m not certain you have previously mentioned your interest in shadows.
😉
I’m not really sure either 😀

(I hope the translation worked well)
A very personal post andpersonal pictures, I think your personal work is very good and you make good use of your b&w technique.
I hope your son is doing fine and you get more opportunities like this where the whole family has a day out together but also to relax.
His daily impressions are often like a roller coaster. Fear and panic can be all over the place, but he can be so incredibly joyfull and happy too. Many emotions for a kid of just eight years.
We are working really hard with him to make him feel comfortable and give him more confidence. And yes, we hope we will get more opportunities like these. Not only for him and our family, but mostly also for our daughter who needs all the attention, caring and love too.
