Breaking the habits
Yeah, 28mm perspective and lots of depth of field. Bokeh is BS and all you have to do is street photography and shoot randomly from the hip. I just don’t get it. Maybe I use the 28mm lens too long. Inspiration was gone. Everything felt like already done.
I eventually returned to my “old” GF1 and took the Olympus 50mm f/1.4 lens to break my habits. And shoot stuff that may be dull for others, but bring calmness to me. This camera and manual focus lens still have a lot of character. And I am still surprised that even the low res electronic viewfinder is so much fun to use.
Lets see if I can pick up a pleasant pace again and photograph some more.
