week 4 | 2012
Although a week only has seven days, this week just felt so much longer. And so much could be said, but I just don’t know what. I did stumble upon two excellent writings by Jörg Colberg on his website Conscientious. These writings, “Photography and desire” and “Photography and trust” sum up so well what should drive motivation for any photographer.

This is life. We are always watching something happened.
And I guess life is essential to make it noteworthy.
These are all reminiscent of mid year 2011 in your project — going back to your roots, nicely done.
You are right that these photographs are reminiscent of mid last year. Regarding roots, I donnu. Roots always keep growing.
Nice articles that you shared. Good read.
There excellent pieces and I think Jörg Colberg can say it so much better.
Wouter, That Photography and Desire article really struck a cord with me as well.
This is a great set of pictures today.
Yes, these articles are really good and I do fully acknowledge it. Photography makes so much sense when shared with others.
don’t get too close to dead birds. or even live ones.
have a good week.
This pigeon just eat itself to death. Although we do call them flying rats!
It’s about seeing & sharing. Every new week starts with a great Wouter seeing experience that lets me dig in my own mind & shows me the other way. And it hits me each time. Full frontal, melancholic, beautiful. Each one a new story & a new song but whne it all comes together it’s just mindblowing. And I can’t think of the appropriate words. Speechless. Thanks for sharing another week full of gems, Wouter!
All the best & safe travels, Fritsch.
Like Jörg Colberg says it, sharing gives meaning to photography.
