Decay

My hometown in decay.
Oude Kerkweg, Ede, Gelderland, the Netherlands.
February 26, 2009.
Ricoh GX200, f2.9, 1/125 sec, ISO 100
I hope decay in photography can be overcome, because yesterday’s post about the Epson R-D1xG got a lot of traffic. I think many people would love to have a digital rangefinder, so I hope Epson, Leica, Voigtländer, Zeiss, Sony and Ricoh are reading this too.
And for those, like me, interested in how to get the most out of Blurb, read this article by James Lucket.

Isn’t it supposed to be released in Japan only?
The press release mentioned that, but this camera will sell well in the West too. And some Japanese online shops will probably sell it foreigners like they still do with the older R-D1s.
That picture could be of someplace around here too.
I believe it could have been made anywhere. It is a recongizable scene.
