Fence at the waterfront

Not something you always expect in the middle of nowhere. A fence with a length of less than 2 meters.

A month ago I posted an article about inspiration in photography. Last night Uphilldowndale posted an interesting article about her inspiration while refering to my article. She is inspired by the work from British photographer James Ravilious of the rural life of Devon. In that article is also a link to a BBC 4 documentary, make sure to check it out. Very beautiful work indeed.

The noise, vignetting and high contrast in the first picture work very well. It is a different than your other landscape pictures which has smoother tones but I like the change.
I really wanted to create a more gritty feel and I personally think it worked really well. I am glad you like it too.
