Early Commute

14May08

There is a challenge in capturing the ordinary. The things that are common to us. We often find it hard to frame things we see on a daily bases. We travel a lot to make beautiful photographs elsewhere, while we get blind for the captivating moments of our daily lives. I selected this photograph as an example of moments and light that can trigger us. “Ordinary can become extraordinary.

Nice capture and nice to see more pictures of your bike series.
Agree with what you say about being blind for things that are all around us and if front of our eyes. There is so much that we don’t see and realize it’s there just because we’re so used to it. We miss out on so much because we never stop to just look around us, instead we rush from one place to the other.
This is the beauty and the importance of photography since it makes you stop and look around. It captures the things that most take for ordinary but when looking closer are extraordinary.
